I have some big news to share. The reason why I haven’t been posting for a while is because I’ve been working on writing my first book and it is finished! The edits have also been done and I’m working with the publisher on the formatting. The picture below is a very rough sketch from an artist friend of mine who is designing the book cover. It’s entitled Rewilding Jesus.

If you’re curious about the content. Here’s the book description from the back cover of the book. I hope it have it available for sale in January 2027.

Here it is:

What happens when we take Jesus out of the church building and encounter him in the wild?

Rewilding Jesus explores the deep connection between Jesus and the natural world by journeying through the Wheel of the Year and the four paths of Creation Spirituality: darkness and letting go, awe and delight, creativity and imagination, and justice and compassion. Through Scripture, early Christian writings, personal stories, and earth-centered spiritual practices, David Taliesin invites readers to encounter a Jesus who speaks through seeds and soil, birds and trees, changing seasons, and the rhythms of the Earth.

Written for Christians seeking a deeper connection with nature and Pagans who may be curious about the wild side of Jesus, Rewilding Jesus offers fifty-two weekly reflections for anyone longing for a spirituality that is rooted, expansive, and alive.
